Saving Reels on iOS Made Easy

You can download Reels on iPhone directly from Safari. No extra app is required if you use the built-in iOS download manager correctly.

iPhone Steps

  1. Copy the Reel link in Instagram.
  2. Open Safari and go to the downloader page.
  3. Paste URL and tap Download.
  4. After download completes, open the file and tap Share > Save Video.

Where the File Goes

Downloaded files appear in the Files app first. After you use Save Video, the Reel moves to Photos and becomes available in your camera roll.
